Status: DISAPPOINTED!!!
Despite the fact that these look edible, unfortunately, they don't taste that great. :\ Pretty sure I bought the wrong flour to make these which would explain the slightly off taste. Plus they were harder than I expected them to be. May have boiled them for too long. The sauce is really the only thing that I can say was a complete success and that was the easiest thing to make.
Next time, I'll make sure to get the right rice flour for these and hopefully they'll come out better.

Wow! They look amazing, I'm sorry to hear they didn't come out too great. I've found that Mochiko Sweet Rice Flour is the best, however I personally have a hard time making them look edible, they are either cooked too hard or not cooked enough. Looks great though! The sauce is hands down the best it is so easy to make and so yummy! Great presentation anyway~
Did you use it with a combination of Joshinko rice flour? The recipe I follow is this one.
