An absolutely cute and adorable pic I decided to get in my continued quest to get more art of Lynx, this time a direct illustration of my Cross story, "Lost Fragments of the Past."

In that story, when Serge and Dark Serge are switched back to their own bodies again, I had originally intended to just have them be switched mentally, the same way the Tear worked the first time. But not only did I feel it wrong to eliminate one of the iconic images from the game, but I realized I could easily say the presence of Serge's body would let him be reborn, but without any of Wazuki left, Lynx would have to be youthened and changed back into a panther again during his restoration to himself. And I was hardly going to pass up the chance of seeing baby Lynx.

So here he is, just before growing back to full adult size again, although the memories I gave him during this scene in the story really don't fit that cute, content expression. And for those who might still want to complain about how different this is from the game, it can be pointed out that when he shrank out of Lynx's robes, Serge would have briefly looked just like this before turning into a human baby. So in a way it's still canon. :P
