The serie of fotos is about an abandoned gold mine refinery in Jiofen named "the 13 levels". There is still gold around there but its too difficult to dig by now since the mining work getting deeper, it has become more and more dangerous. Miners die from accidents, and the company had to close the entire mining site. Thus the refinery is abandoned, leaving the land heavily Arsenium polluted.

I sneak into the abandoned factory to take some photos for the Taiwanese Green Party as we are starting some actions against these abandoned factory which leaving pollution even after they are closed.
