its nice, but the wings does not really fit into that pic, because of their lack of detail..

you have made some scale details and that, but the wings look now way too 'flat' :/

Good point, but to be honest I have no idea how to make the wings more detailed... Got any suggestion for me? There is a little shading there and I made the leather just a teeny bit see-through as per Dracius instructions, but, but... Do you think it would've looked better if I had used gradients of some sort?

you see the tiny little veins in there? something like that, jsut that it does look "alive" and not like a colored sheet of paper ;3

Maybe some veins and blood vessels to detail it a bit more? And a couple soft highlights would help tremendously, I think.

Sometimes I feel rewarded and sometimes I must admit that retrospectively I didn't do a very good job. But thankfully I have never had to experience "artists blocks", I always keep drawing and move on.

Thank you for the private message you sent me, btw. It was very inspirational... I hope my clumsy thanks don't make you feel that they lessen the value of your thoughts, but you know I'm one of those people who feel more at home drawing and less at home replying coherently to nice words even though I do appreciate them. =)

Awesome work, I love the shadow of the sunset. He looks very much like a gargoyle....wonder if he is.

He is more like an anthropomorphic dragon. I think this was the first time I tried drawing one. =)

I'm pretty happy with the scaley spots, even though I know that I need to practice painting them more. I have to try and make these sort of scales into some sort of a seamless pattern that follows the shape of the muscles fully instead of just awkwardly highlighting them. I'm sure that with enough patience I might be able to do something like that.

Thanks! I like making those little scaley patches. One day I'm going to make a dragon that covered fully in scales instead of just using them as highlights. =)

You know whats scarier than dragons? Dragon-bees. They're bees crossbread with dragons. Very big.

Very cool, as always. I particularly like the way you did the background. That's not the say that I don't think the dragon is good, because obviously it's great, but I think you have excelled in the background!

Painting sky is fun because with Painter you can just throw in the colors and smudge them a bit and you end up with results that look almost convincing. =)

I love it -exactly- how it is :D I cant really pickout any error without 'nit-picking' and/or I dont have enough artistic "insight" to pickout anything...

You're welcome! I think every commissioner has the right to point out errors. If there is something you'd like me to work on some more, and I have no object to that, I still have the intact .psd file on my hard drive. =)

I love the background, like always. and it sorta looks like a charizard, but I'm not complaining, J'adore les Pokemon. ^w^ that's french for: I love Pokemon.

I used to watch the original pokémon series... The first season, that is. And I was a fan of sorts, I think, but these new pokémons look really alien to me. =)

Pretty good, one thing that bothers me is the lineart where does the sun shine. I know what you wanted to do, but it didnt turn out. It looks like it glows like a lamp and it should shine like a surface reflecting the lighning ;o

I actually had no idea what I wanted to do, except that I thought a reddish highlight would make the character blend into the background a bit while making it look less like a sticker. I usually just go what with I think might look okay. =)
