AH! That had to be it... I knew it was one or the other, but I forget how well some good markers can mimic digital quality artwork sometimes. I've an trained eye for what is and isn't pencil... but not much outside of that... :|

Kinda... The Windfish is all decorative through clothing and jewelry. The only real similarities between your drawing and the Windfish are that they're big whale-y looking things with tiny wings. It looks like your whale-y looking thing has several appendages, and also looks more dragon-like, now that I take a closer look at it. I could totally see your giant whale-y thing having really scaley skin. And, well... looks more like a shark than a whale, actually. X3 Well, the silhouette's are really similar... >>;

Not really... Take a look at all the anime there is. Like 50% of the characters look just like the next one. Your giant fish guy looks only SIMILAR, not exactly the same. You might want to add some color too. The B&W makes it harder to tell apart too, just because of, y'know, the human brain makin' that conneciton because of silhouette and all that good sciency stuff. Without color a LOT of things would look really similar.

Yeah, I havent quite thought of the proper color scheme for it yet. But it may help.
