Hey look! I posted something! This is about a year old from an art class I took last semester. I figured I should post something to show that I'm not dead!
Here we (kinda) a scene from one of my favorite movies, Aliens, from the end of the film where Ripley bravely goes into the xenomorph hive to rescue Newt, a little girl who was the only survivor of the xenomorph attack.

I for one prefer Aliens over Alien. It's the rare instance where a sequel surpassed the original. Having an army of these things was a scary thought, making it seem like a no-win situation. Not to say Alien didn't have it's perks, the atmosphere in that movie is unbeatable and the claustrophobic and isolated feeling it created just worked so well. It's a masterpiece. But the way Aliens built on Ripley as a character, she was so well rounded by the end of it. She goes from being haunted by her memories, realizes that the only way she can put her mind at rest is to face her fears. She doesn't just face it though, she FLOORS it. Meeting Newt and gaining something else to fight for other than her own survival was a great thing, really. She actually goes into the hive, goes one on one with the queen and really kicks some ass! She ends up wiping out the aliens all together! No, I don't count Alien 3 because it's shit.
