The thing about a scythe is that it has multiple options. You can hook and disarm an opponent, or hook an opponent's leg and trip them. The outer edge can be used to slash while the tip can be used to strike at weak spots in an opponent's armor. You can thrust it, draw it in an upward swing, a downward swing or side to side. The only bad thing, common with most two handed weapons, is if an opponent gets too close. xD

I really love weapons, and a scythe is quite menacing. I never looked that much into how to fight with one, but that definitively opened my eyes for ways to use one :3
