Don't mind the title... couldn't think of anything too clever.
This is a joke I came up with talking to
krowy regarding her and her hubby's phoenix persona Yaki. As some of you might know, the phoenix is a symbol of rebirth as they will often burn up in their own flames, then re-emerge from the ashes. That, essentially, is what happened here. Could have come at a better time, though XP
Boy, this thing turned out to be a pain to get finished. My lineart cleaning method got really screwy, Photoshop did some messed-up things, so I couldn't colour the lineart... oy. Still, I managed to finish it.
