The day George Harrison died was an awfully sad day for me. I wanted to commemorate the loss by drawing something to show how I felt. This is what I had come up with. A quick doodle during Commercial Art class in 2002. Today, I decided to photoshop paint it as it was, and post it. I however added Max's floppy ears and the memorial circle as originally intended.
This picture shows Max Lennon as a spirit, welcoming George Harrismith to his bench beside the memorial. I thought that maybe their spirits would reunite and John would comfort George in the afterlife, their meeting place being Central Park's Strawberry Fields (aka. the IMAGINE circle) where fans come to mourn John's death.
Anyway, its not as beautifully done as my most recent drawings, but it is very meaningful to me, so I wanted to post it.
