I scaled my fursuit-head model down and printed a head for a puppet. Maybe this on will be in this years Eurofurence Pawpet-Show.
The hinge to the lower jaw is made of felt and wonderflex (it stays open by itself - I used a clothes pin to close it for the photo). The ears are made of felt too. It took 6 hours to print the plastic parts on my Makerbot 1 (printed in PLA, glued together with Plaast) - I did not print the nose yet.

Bei meinen bisherigen Versuchen hat sich Plaast besser als Epoxid mit PLA verbindunden. Es ist vor allem flexibler als Kunstharz oder Sekundenkleber - da bricht eher das PLA als die Klebestelle. Die einzige Einschränkung ist das nicht zu warm werden darf - aber Kunstfell hält auch keine 60°C aus.
Bei den ganzen Zähnen, Nasen, Augenlidern, die ich aus Plast gebaut habe ist noch nix kaputt gegangen - es muss nur beim Verarbeiten heiß genug sein.
