One of my new pets. Never uploaded to FA from my phone before.
I went to an exotic reptile show yesterday with the intention of buying a tarantula. I saw someone selling these guys and thought, I have an empty tank almost set up, and couldn't pass them up. I bought two and then went home and finished setting up the tank. It was supposed to be for glow fish, so now at some point I have some tank rearranging to do if I want a glow fish tank in the future. But supposedly these guys look cool under a blacklight too. I haven't tried it yet. FYI, you can not house these with fish or any other animal. Someone will get eaten. 0.o I also almost had them on aquarium gravel and that's bad too.
What are they? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Axolotl They are neotenic salamanders, which is basically a salamander that never metamorphisizes (lose their gills and gain the ability to leave water for land)
