My first full-body drawing of my little anubian jackal, Adven.
And yes, I am aware the lighting and image quality is crap (I don't have a scanner ^^').
For the drawing itself, I'll of course take any constructive critisism and judgment. :)

Tee-hee. Already a quite difficult pose for your first try, but not bad all in all; face and belly are very nice. :3
The whole body needs a bit more volume, especially the hips. Remember that although the depth of the body is a little smaller than the broadth, it also has a substancial part of the overall volume. You might also want to make the arms a bit thicker.
You drew the hands surprisingly well and elegant, though they need to be a little larger. Hands plus fingers should be about as long as the face, and the palm half as wide.
It's a very god start and I wish you much fun in the future. ^_^
