This is a very interesting piece, I can see alot of detail in it ^^ For some reason I'm amused at the fact you added the bugs being attracted by the light, that's one of my kitties favorite things... Love this!!

Oh, nothing really, I used to smoke cigars (and cigarettes) when I was younger, then a lot of people I knew died of cancer so I quit. I used to have a bowl that was shaped like a dick too.

No shame in liking dick-or-nipple-shaped whatevers! Or dicks or boobs themselves, but I don't feel much in the way of sexuality in the picture, just loneliness.

True... huh... you made me think about this picture a little bit more than I have in awhile. My fondness for cigars (or smoking as a habit) is largely based around the masculinity of the act and the community it holds. I drew this at a very lonely point in my life, and there are allot of symbols purposefully placed in it, but I missed that smoking the cigar was a symbol of my need for community and a masculine (not necessarily male) force in my life... Of course, I'm reading this on yet another, very introspective night...but then, what night isn't?

This is an orgy of colors and textures. I love it. It has something that pull you in to the center, but then it makes your attention go on a spiral around the details like the lamp and the flower...

Also, if you want to start searching for Freudian subliminal messages, besides the obvious cigar, there is a big crack in the middle of the composition.

As for the oral fixation for phallic objects, I must admit that even though I'm not gay I do enjoy a good cigar. I suggest that if your looking for a good brand, try searching for the Rare punch series. they have a nice tight wrap and a smooth draw to them.
