The second of those introspective self portraits, this time with more realistic representation of my dreads and my beloved bandanna.
"I am carved from flesh and bone
home-made, hand-sewn,
child of creation, daughter of decay,
lost in thought, but on my way"
Background is based on an abandoned building I stayed in in Philly. It's been torn down since then.

Reminds me of a place I stayed in when I lived in France... Subsequently, I love abandoned old derelicts now, they seem to embody the quintessential sense of "home," at least to me. You did a lovely job on the fur's textures, and on your character's expression-- Overall, a very lovely piece.
Don't hit me, but the brother bear song does come to mind with the last line. heheh, but yeah, like I told ya when you showed it to me.. I love the fur textures, the bandanna and the intense level of detail. You do pop-out things with impressionism that I've never really seen before.
