Someone asked me to put this up here since I refused to put it back up on the DA it was on.
Fun fact: This was the drawing that started "the expendable race" that I have been working on using lately. After I realized how little my Strygwyr fanart actually looked like him.... I took the design for myself (well, it was mine to begin with!) and reverted fanart to the original design (an Orc Shaman).
I based my version on his name, his playstyle, and his Thirst Icon alone... ignoring the Orc in Wolf skins aspect completely.

It's an epic weapon for Lineage 2. Literally.
It is by far the strongest in the game.... and it is very valuable (about $100 in currencty traded just to swap hands with the weapon). It is also one of the most interesting weapons in any MMORPG.
This, along with the Akamaneh drop randomly from mobs. When it drops, the entire server goes red and starts shaking, and the location of the sword is shown on the map. That's when people go apeshit and tries to take it.
The sword itself gives you some amazing buffs and skills. Multiplies your defence by 5. Multiplies your attack power by something crazy like 20 times. Same with your CP (combat hp). You pretty much become a golden god and nothing short of daggers critting with lethal blows can kill you. Whenever you hit you regenerate that much HP...and you are dealing thousands of damage.. often killing characters in a single hit. It also raises your Karma to the max.
You need to kill about 100 players to get the sword to it's strongest point.... and you need to kill at least 1 player every 24 hours to keep it from dissapearing. If you do die with it, your karma drops down to 0 ((no matter how much karma you amassed before you got the sword)) (and you don't lose any exp with your death). If you die... there is a 50% chance for the sword to drop on the ground or dissapear. When people hunt you, they hope that they get it. It's up for a maximum of 2-3 days... then you have to wait for it to spawn again. It can respawn within minutes.. to weeks. This one time a friend of mine had it... his time was running out. While his character was still acting out the death animation (you die when it runs out of time)... the sword fell and we where after it again.
Why is this sword awesome? Exp. The grind for this game is fucking insane.... and this sword makes it so that you gain 6x the amount of normal exp for 100% profit (no money is spent on shots, healing potions, and etc since the sword makes you self sufficient). People will hunt you 24/hours a day for it.... and the pvp makes the grind fun! Especially if clan warfare is involved. We use the sword's map marker as a trap and we drag enemies to ambushes and shit all the time. Good stuff. People are crazy with the sword too. Playing for 20 hours a day and sleeping for the remainding 4 hours... handing their accounts to their friends so they can exp with it while they are away. I've seen many people stay home from work because of it.

DX I knew it was from that game. I came across that sword, well someone weilding it. I didn't know it had all those effects though. In the server I played, the Akameneh hasn't dropped yet but the Zariche drops all the time. Have you actually gotten the Zariche before?
D=/ holy crap, well i know lately in my server, nobody has gotten it, at least I don't think so. The sword is always dropping in the Cave of Trails in my server and it seems people don't go there anymore since they found a quicker way to make money so they can buy that stupidly expensive armor. That sword seemed interesting except for the whole max karma, auto-pker status and everyone knows where you are and what not.
The maxed karma aint no thang. You don't drop items or lose exp when you die. You simply lose the sword (by dropping on the ground or 1/3 of the time dissapear). Once you lose the sword your pk score reverts to the number it was before you got it, but karma magically turns to 0. Other than having people chase you, the sword is nothing but beneficial. Especially if you played retail like we did. You earn exp roughly 6 times faster and all the gold/ drops are free since you use no potions, SS, or party members... so it's always sought after. On retail you earn about 100m in adena, more if you get drops in the days that you have the sword.... and that is insane.
wow, that is pretty impressive, the main thing I am after in that game is trying to regain my +14 Dual Dragon Slayers since I left the last server because Brazilians possessed it and messed it up. I am already max level with my character, what server do you play on anyway?
I played Lionna for 2 years, Teon for 6 months, Franz for 1.3 years, and one other for a few months. Either Erica, Seighardt, or Devianne. I forgot. I used 1-3 accounts at any given time, though I had access to about 30 other accounts that I could play when the class was needed.
I never played any private server for too long because they just weren't hardcore enough. I have since been forced to quit the game though.

Nope. I took everything off my DAs because I need to make a new one. People I know (as in, actually know) have been watching me and giving my DA out... giving me too many people asking for favors or comissions (though mostly favors). Can you imagine having every friend and family member asking you to do work for them... or having them force people you don't even know on you just because they expect you to work for them too? I'm sick of having to say no to these people. I'm not a dick.... but every time I say I don't have the time to do it... they beg me to make an exception for them and I feel terrible.
