So... while digging through boxes of my stashed fabrics, I ran across several yards of the original Pokemon printed cotton fabric that was available in 1999. I remember my mom made me a pair of pajama pants out of this stuff when I was a teen, but gave me all the extra fabric. I hadn't known where it had disappeared to until today!

Something must be done with this fabric. Why not a quilt? Yeah, a Poke-Quilt! A quick trip to the local fabric store, and I have all the colors I need for the top. I think this will become a con-blanket if it turns out good. Not big enough to use as a bed cover, but just big enough to snuggle under once it's finished. I'm excited about this.

I've never made a quilt before, so this will be a learning experience! This is the pattern for the squares. What do you think?
