The quote you're thinking of comes more recently from Hugo, the Abominable Snowman in the episode The Abominable Snow Rabbit, but it originally comes from Of Mice and Men and is a reference to Lennie and George. Looney Toons and Merry Melodies cartoons were dripping with quotes from it. That one was used quite a bit, as well as the ever popular "which way did he go, George, which way did he go".
thanks! and i didnt even know they got the line from that book but it makes sense. Of Mice and Men was one of the few books i read cover to cover from assigned reading in high school. not that i hated reading mind you, i just hated homework lol. one of the few books i made an exception for as well as Ender's Game cause they were just really gripping.
thanks for the title of that particular episode too. grew up watching the classics like Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry, they will always be infinitely more entertaining to me than anything on CN right now.

Oh, most definitely. Granted, some of the older things such as Superfriends is a little cheesy and corny now, but Tom and Jerry and Looney Tunes will always be top notch entertainment. I look at Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon and ask myself "where did it go wrong?" I can't help but wonder why they felt the need to ditch the classics for a cartoon that looks like an animated remake of Jersey Shore.
