Thank you so Very much!!
Yes,they did take a little while to complete....but well worth the effort to me because I'm a bit of a Detail nut.
To me,Great art is in the details. Though by No means am I a great artist mind you......I'm just trying hard to improve my style.

Indeed and it does show!
It is very challenging to be patient while working on a piece. My first thought is to get it done as quickly as possible so that I can move on to the next work. But the problem with that is it causes the work to feel more like a chore than a relaxing piece of art. Instead what I do is try and invision the character or scene to it's littlest detail and then focus on those details trying to perfect them as closely as I can invision them. By doing this, I no longer feel the urge to "Hurry up and get done" as my mind is now occupied with the formation/creation of details.

Yes, I study the work of others (mind you I don't copy, trace or steel. I simply study how they overcome problems that I am having at that time.) And so I have learned a great deal by doing this and by asking other accomplished artists questions about their techniques.
In addition to long hours of practice......
