For the group to go undetected, Lauren and the others needed to look like they belonged in the primarily Ashurian city of Crystal Falls. As such, they could not be seen in their Talwyn clothes, nor use their powers in sight of anyone that might recognize it for what it was. Topaz elected to wear a simple red dress with a petticoat, letting her hair down and wearing calf high socks.
It was a simple disguise, but hopefully it would be enough. Topaz quietly emerged from the dressing room and gave a sheepish smile at Chris. She knew her feelings for him had been just a crush, but she still liked to get his approval now and then.

Oh yes. ;) Topaz is one of my favorites, and like Lauren she initially began as a sub character. She was actually not really all that interesting to me until her first reboot, when she became a corporate princess of sorts. She was held in a transporter cube for safety until her unwitting protector found out what he was carrying. Then she ran into her more militant brother and they fought for her parents company.
Though in the latest and hopefully final reboot, Topaz just works so well with Lauren I enjoy the relationship structure I have set up. ;)
