Color challenge - depict a communist gathering with no actual symbols of communism and every color but red.
Cabal meetings, bears, and the afterimage of cyan don't count. ^^
Watercolor pencils, big bears on paper 3"x4"

Hmmm, interesting challenge, LiimLsan. I suppose what the artist puts into a “communist gathering” picture would be the connotations (mental links) of what he mentally connects to Communism. It’s an especially interesting challenge without using the communist symbols or color red.
*nods in agreement*
Pretty much any clandestine meeting looks like another. A Communist meeting, Nazi meeting, or even a meeting of the Resistance plotting against the occupying Invaders. No flags, no symbols, the dread fear of the door suddenly being broken down, and maybe just a hint of burning passion to Strike Back.
Yeah, it's a tough subject to portray.

Yeah, no matter what, they're always out of the open.
Will you give all you can give so that our banner may advance?
Some will fall and some will live, will you stand up and take your chance?
The blood of the martyrs will water the meadows of France!
See, it's hilarious for me to talk of clandestine meetings and persecution, when I came this afternoon from a screenprinting class, bought Irish groceries (Tayto and Lucozade and microwave mince pies and all that), and am typing this listening to "The Sound of Philadelphia" by MFSB feat. the Three Degrees off "Philly Super Soul Hits." Trust me, you've heard this song as a kid and didn't know what it was, everyone has songs like this.
