I wonder what the point is,
Why we carry on to live another day of pain,
Keep stumbling on as if we have something to gain,
I wonder why we keep loving,
Even though we know it's going to hurt in the end,
Somethings even time can't mend,
I wonder why we keep breathing the air,
When we know the air we breathe shortens us anyway,
I wonder why we get out of bed every day,
When we know the shit's all the same.
I wonder why we open our eyes,
When we know we're going to see the same.
