It gets worse though.. in outlands there's a quest where you beat on a drum to summon a monster.. and theres a chance that instead of the monster.. a dark/brown colored "Sand Gnome" with a towel on it's head will pop out and attack you ...

most of them are pretty much filler to get people from point a to b and what not.. so yeah.. they have way to much fun sometimes

Not as bad as the quests in outland that have you digging through Talbuk crap to get some cherries which you're then expected to eat.

Nope, Talbuk, but that's better than the Horde, there's a quest where you have to INTENTLY make a Felhound eat, crap, and then dig through the stuff!!!

I did that one for alliance as well..

The quest with the sand gnomes and the huge worms are literally covered in comedy. If you've read Dune, you'll find that it's littered with silly references.

Never read dune... i'm not much of a book person, cause my mind wanders to much, and I don't like the feel of paper that most books are made from.

But all I remember is little things about.. "The spice must flow" XD

I'm Horde most of the time. I used to prefer Alliance, but not so much now. Mostly due to everyone I know playing that side, but also because Alliance players in North America have a reputation of being younger, more annoying, and more likely to grief.

Still, at the end of the day, I like FFXI more than WoW.

Don't get me wrong, it sounds amusing. But after being on the receiving end for so long, it looses it's luster.

When I first started, I thought, "Wouldn't it be funny to run into a town at 70 and just kill all the NPCs?" But then I found out that people do that repeatedly just to keep other players from being able to run quests. So meh. Maybe I would test my mad skillz by seeing if I could sneak in and out of the other side without getting killed, but I wouldn't lower myself to killing someone who couldn't defend themselves.

Oh, and keep in mind that my main is a Blood Elf Priest. Priest. Mostly Squishy. And I constantly get duel challenges from people five levels above me, sometimes melees. It's like, "Oh, I'm a big man, I'll fight a HEALER several levels below me to show that I can win something, lol."

Thats nice to hear. I always feel really bad when I get defensive around horde players that honestly mean me no harm. I almost never attack someone, out right, but a lot of times I'll run into someone roughly my level, and just pop ghost wolf and take off. So if I run into another hordie I just drop as many totems as possible so they'll just fuck off. I got an amusing story about that.

Yeah, my first character was a priest. Made me happy, than I played a shaman and I learned the joys of 'white damage'. I don't think I'll ever play a bloodelf. They're a freaking rocking awesome race, I admit. Just plan old sweet racials; but they're just too gay. And I'm a gay guy.

Sometimes I think I should just go over to a non-pvp server, but whats the fun in that? Than I couldn't bitch. :)
