moo mesa/ ss...they're actually differently coded games (different level layouts, a special attack feature not present in sunset riders, different type of bosses, special 'events' not present in sunset riders here and there (waterfall thingie, control of movement in all directions at the scenes you're carried by the eagle...the equivalent of sunset riders horse riding i suppose )

And it runs on different, slightly newer hardware.

It's still a 'Sunset Riders' ripoff, i can definitely see what you're getting at!!
But hey, by both being made by the same company it doesnt seem as unethical, they can accusse of being err 'salvaging' ideas already been done at the very worst.

see, "run & gun" games' my favorite arcade genre (alongside "beat 'em up"), so seeing one based on "Wild West C.O.W.Boys of Moo Mesa" of all things, made by the daddies of legendary "sunset riders" of all companies...it was too epic an occurance to me, very special.

Good memories i need to kick out this depression, get people what i owe, already (specially :masterful: considering shamefully long delay) & then we can get back into Cody and Miss Lily fan works

(& at the same time found out about demon front's status of being finally emulated...i knew about that one but it had been 'non working' for so many years, i forgot to check--i was so hyped!! "i can finally get to play it")
I was real excited!

It's so great to have 2 new (to me ^^'), quality metal slug style games at our disposal

What i'd like to try one day now, is Hard Corps: Uprising, but i don't currently have the means.
