Amazingly, this was also taken in Arizona. Up in the mountains near Snowbowl, AZ. Aptly named because it well, is an area that gets a lot of snow. The sun just happened to part through the clouds a bit and the effect was amazing. I doctored it up a bit but it is pretty close to how I saw this scene
