he lives inside the 10g natural dirtied tank I got in my bedroom, full of live plants like amazon sword, rotala, java fern, java moss, anubias, duckweed out the ass and lots of a dwarf grass species.

Nope, I just use natural dirt with gravel ontop. I got the dirt from a Raley's or just a normal food store and bought some all natural dirt, sifted it to just the dirt then put it inside the tank and added gravel over the top and then added the plants. It runs itself I can go a month without a water change and the water will still be fine.
