To the control freak this word is like a tidal wave, ready to ruin and level the entire world as they know it.
To the one in control, whose taken the lead not because they so desired it, but because no one else would- or atleast wouldnt abuse the right, this word is like a saving grace, a flood comming to wash away the troubles and the burdens, the hardships and the heartache.
I am the second of the two. Ive walked far and carried the weight of my own little world upon my shoulders. Not because i feared lack of power, but because it was my own burden to bear and mine alone. Because i knew that to pass on the power of controll meant to tempt another into going mad with that very power. So i carried on. I waited. Untill finally i walked through the forrests of the darkness, the barren feilds of endless snow and the valley of the damned till i came upon the shore and found where id been needing to go all this time.
And the only way to get there is through surrender.
