Call your local clubs and organizations. There's plenty of sites out there that talk about it.. Just make sure you have the time and commitment to do it. It's not easy at all and takes a LOAD of time. I spent pretty much 12 hours today just holding and sitting with him.
Sounds like your arm is dead tired. And I will need to look up and try to find it. Long time is one for days off. That way I can somewhat embrace the bird. Course another would find a bi wildlife thing. With the injured animals to nurse back to health. Science teacher did that and loved it. But can never remember it till now. Viltures are much sweeter birds than they seem. Same with skunks and such.
He's very courageous and warms up. He has little quirks and bits about him that just make him unique. Tonight he almost fell asleep on my glove. which is odd. But all signs of his health seems that he is perfectly fine and healthy.
There is also the fact that over 14 hours of trapping and we only managed to trap a haggard (Adult that we immediately let go) and him. I felt like fate may have brought us together.
