You're Welcome and yeah I know expensive some model kits can be. and I build models as well though I use the LDD program that I downloaded onto my Laptop to build models that I find instructions for on Youtube. And I just got do building the M36 Jackson Tank Destroyer an hour ago and will be posting it soon.
That's somewhat true Northrop did develop wing aircraft for the military back in the 50's and 60's. But Nein it wasn't Northrop who built the first Flying wing aircraft. But instead it was Walter and Reimar Horten who built the first flying wing aircraft although their first one the Horten Ho-2 was nothing more than a glider. the results though were outstanding since they showed that an aircraft could fly without a tail and vertical stabilizer.
And the Horten Brothers' Horten Ho-229 was also the first to use Stealth(Although that fact was in part to the aircraft's shape and materials that was used to make it) and when I look at a lot of today's technology like smart bombs. I would look at them a little bit closer and find a tiny bit of some sort of Wunderwaffe in them somewhere. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wunderwaffe
So in a way the Germans were the first to develop all of these modern aircraft and weapons(And that included the captured German Uranium that the US used in the second and third Atomic bombs(Trinity was the first Atomic bomb to be detonated, but the two dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki were the first and last two Atomic bombs to be used in war.)
It was captured nazi engineering and science that put Man on the Moon in 1969.(V-2 Rocket) as well as the V-2 creator Wernher Magnus Maximilian, Freiherr von Braun. who later became the head of NASA and was in charge of all Apollo Missions. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wernher_von_Braun

The Horten Ho-IX (or Gotha Go-229. I don't think Ho-229 was a designator for it) did have some stealth to it, but that was pure coincidence, not something done intentionally.
Also, you should avoid citing wikipedia. Its information is too easily altered and there's too much conjecture.
In any case, look here. A Go-229 is undergoing restoration: http://russian-fox.deviantart.com/a.....agle-329883423
I also knew about most of that information. Still, its always good to have someone to talk to about such things. =3
An experimental version of the Me-262, known as the HG-II, made use of a swept wing, with greater sweep than on the standard 262. This wing design would later appear on the F-86F Saber, and known as the "6-3 Wing".

Oh well I'll keep that in mind then and thanks for the tip. And by the way Nice Grumman F-14D Super Tomcat and you need to update your journal on DA.
And did you hear about the passing's of Theodore Van Kirk(93) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FL3BarggS4o who was the last crew member of the Enola Gay as well as Louis Zamperini(97) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3sfRIX2O5RM the author of Unbroken which is now being made into a major motion picture with Angelina Jolie Pitt(Yes her and Brad finally tied the Knot this year.) as the director of that movie. And the funny thing is that Angelina Jolie had Louis Zamperini as her next door neighbor. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rbXOJttaU2I
