this was the final project i did before I left high school. this was made to show off my personal symbol Outcast proudly everywhere I went. This was deceptively my most difficult project I under took. The design is cut into three layers, the tail backing, the metal collage in the middle, the outcast symbol on top of it all. The backing is made from brass, the middle is a side by side diagonal solder of brass, nickle silver, copper cut down the middle on half flipped to make 3 arrow design pointing up, the symbol itself is made from 3 brass triangles and filed for a beveled look. sadly i would say that this pushed the limit of the metal on this project with so many times it would be soldered that it burn scarred and tarnished with in the week i made it. the most nerve raking part was keeping the 3 triangles from moving as the solder underneath melts. all and all this was one of my favorite projects.
