Diedar - The Spirit of Nature (Wayfarer RPG)
This is Diedar, the chief god of nature in Telluria. He takes the form of a majestic buck with trees for antlers and verdant foliage growing in his fur.
If anyone has any suggestions to improve his appearance, I'd be glad to hear them!

im not really an artist, but if youre asking for ideas...
so the head and body and tail and antlers, all have stuff going on with the plants being on him, gives that whole 'i speak for the trees' feeling
but the legs feel a little bare, like not as busy as the other parts of him
having those vines descend lower, maybe to around his thighs/upper legs might make them look as 'busy' as the rest of his body
just in general the whole 'animal with a plant on him' is a concept i really like, maybe around the lower parts of him, possibly as low as the ankles have fungus represented too since fungus isnt really flora or fauna
though fungus might be a little too gross, might clash with his gentile look, maybe generic red and white toadstools on his knee caps? that might look cartoonish
even as is, he's pretty neat to look at, i like how he's got a pretty emotive face, and despite having that network of antlers and the leaves his concept doesnt seem to cramped or dense

I honestly really like this! The idea of a deer being a manifestation of nature, actually goes back to (I believe) Icelandic mythology, since deer antlers look like tree branches! So, sorry if you thought this was a completely original idea, but I can’t say I blame you, since a lot of this mythology was lost when Christianity became a prominent language (not trying to hate on Christians)
