I've become a homebrewer within the last year, starting with a Mr. Beer kit and achieving a brew that earned a passing grade from tasters. Moving into whole-grain brewing now -- it's rather an extension of my lifelong passion for cooking. Brewing beer and making bread are so closely related it's a natural transition, yes?

I guess beer is drinkable bread *chuckles* Certainly both are products of that gift from the gods, Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
