Well guys, I got some bad news, and some HORRIBLE news.
The bad news is; my laptop died. It is completely 100% stone-cold dead. It wont even boot up for me.
Which means I can't watch my DVDs, I can't watch my video files, I can't do any digital arts, and it's going to be much harder for me now to stay connected online.
I called up Toshiba, and made arrangements for my computer to be sent in for repairs. Of course this means that I'm going to be without my computer for goodness knows how long, leaving me with only my phone to do anything.
I suppose I do have paper and pencil still, but seeing as I don't have a scanner, or a computer, the quality of these pictures will suck sorely, as you can see in this submission above.
now for the HORRIBLE news:
not only is sending my computer in for repairs going to cost me hundreds of dollars, but they told me the most likely problem is that my hard drive crashed, and needs replacing. This of course means that I will lose 100 percent of my Dada.
that means all of my pictures, my music, my videos, and everything else I did not have backed up is gone. And the last time I backed up my computer files was about a year ago, so everything I did are retrieved sense then is gone. I actually had several WIPs that I wanted to finish, saved on my laptop, including several pony pictures, everything for my Weeping Angel comic, and a few other large projects that I wanted to try starting eventually, like the story for my character, and a story Tumblr featuring an all new OC.
so, even though I might get my computer back, all of my work over the past year on everything has been lost.
I suppose I can try to take my broken hard drive to a specialist and try to have them know retrieve my data and put it on another external drive, which I am definitely going to try to do, but I don't think I'm going to get my hopes too high on that.

if they wont formatte it, the datas wont be lost, so call them not to do so! (if its formatable in this condition)
since it wont boot I guess it wont be able to simply copy your datas from your old harddrive to your new one (on which you installed your new oparation system).
if it still does more or less you can do the following:
you have to connect both your new and old hardrives via satas (I dont know which your harddrive uses) to a pc ( I dunno if a laptop´s mainboard has 2 sata pins, I have 6) and boot from your new harddrive.
normally both will be booted, but in different orders, mostly in the order you put in the sata pins, so make sure your new oparations system from your new hardrive is booted and your old one will act like a external harddrive whichs folder can be found easely (like the one from a usb-stick) in the main folders. (like your main is mostly a C:// and everything after will just continue with D://, E:// etc.)
if the folder doesnt appear, your computer isnt able to read the datas from it.
