I'm pretty fond of this one, can't wait to get a handle on it and give it a go.

I make my own tools. On these three recent hammers I've saved about $200 making them myself, that's a decent amount of beer money.
I don't have the machinery for gates and fences. These days they aren't made by hand. They're mass produced via machinery. Same result. Better consistancy and quicker. Only time something is made traditionally is if its a custom piece with irregular work. Look up "hebo machines the money machine" on youtube, thats how its done these days.

Ah man, that video left me kinda sad. But I guess that's the way all things go these days.
I just finished my apprenticeship in a small company that focuses on those custom pieces with irregular work and thought maybe that was what you did, too. So... May I ask what you live off of?

I'm currently doing construction, prototyping and fabrication along with wearhouse management. Safe to say im exhausted 24/7 also studying mechanical engineering. Blacksmithing is just a passion for me. I've been doing fabrication since I was young working for my father so metalwork comes naturally.
