Turning a New Leaf

You wake up once again on the same hard sofa. This time though, you didn’t forget what happened before you fell asleep. You knew you lost the bet you made with Tails. You thought maybe, just maybe, if you kept your eyes shut and pretended to be asleep, he might leave you alone. That idea was quickly scrapped as you heard Tails voice call out to you. He said you had a good sleep and that you didn’t last those 15 minutes. You kept your eyes shut as you didn’t want to wake up to his taunting. You heard Tails tell you that he knows you’re awake and that you can’t delay the inevitable. You let out an annoyed grunt as you can’t believe you are forced to not only become a prepared meal for this twerp, but also admit to liking him eating you. No matter how you felt about him eating you, you didn’t want to encourage Tails to constantly snack on you. You felt that it was really demeaning to be eaten by someone so small. While in deep thought you didn’t notice Tails was poking your face.

You regretfully open your eyes to see two big blue eyes that are uncomfortably close to your face. You could also smell Tails gross morning breath which had your combine smell mixed into it. You fell off the couch and covered your nose. You gave Tails a piece of your mind about how you felt about his awkward wake up call. Tails laughed at you and said he couldn't resist. He then put out his hand and offered to help you up. You decided that you might as well take the offer. You grabbed Tails hand and he hoisted you onto your feet. You stared at his smug grin as he stared back at you. Tails said that by the rules of the bet, he gets to make you into a special kind of meal. You just passively accepted that as try to walk away into the kitchen to avoid him. Tails signals you with the old fake “ahem” cough as you tried to skip out on the other condition of the deal. You slowly turn around as you see Tails wag his finger at you. You couldn't help but think he must have ripped that gesture off from someone else. Tails gleefully points out that you’re avoiding the other penalty from the bet. You keep your mouth shut as you don’t want to say it. Tails says you have to say “You enjoy staying in his belly.” You shake your head as you don’t want to. Tails slowly makes his way over to you and licks his lips. He says that if you don’t admit to it now, he’ll devour you on the spot right away. You swallow your pride, close your eyes, and then say you enjoyed staying his belly. Tails instead of trying to eat you, pats you on the back. He jokingly states that that wasn't so bad and that you were just being a baby. You turn your back and shun him as you’re not happy with him. Tails tells you to relax and promised that he wouldn't eat you till dinner. You ignored him as you went to the bathroom to change into your day clothes.

Tails asked if you wanted to help him do maintenance on one of his tornado planes. You decline as you want to spend some time away from him before you’re forced to be his dinner. Tails says he really just wants to hang out with you normally as a friend. You walk out on him as you didn’t like his attitude this morning. Tails sulked away to his garage depressed. You initially felt bad, but once you thought about the past few days, you put those guilty feelings behind you. You went to some restaurant in the town and placed an order. While you were waiting for the food to arrive, you couldn't help but feel a little bad for leaving Tails alone. He is a kid after all. Just as you leave your thoughts, you get a tap on your shoulder. You see Sonic standing behind you with a cheerful smile on his face. He wanted to join you at your table for brunch. You shrugged and told him that he could sit with you. Sonic took a seat in the chair across from you and picked up a menu. You quietly tapped your fingers on the table as Sonic looked through the menu. He was silent until the waiter arrived. Sonic put the menu down and ordered 10 chili dogs. You thought he was a total pig for ordering that much. The waiter gasped as she saw Sonic’s face. The waiter happily proclaimed that your meals were free since Sonic showed up. Sonic thanked the cat looking waiter as it walked off. You didn’t know Sonic’s popularity got him free food. You thought that you should hang around him more often now to save on cash. Sonic broke the ice and asked you what’s been going on at Tails house. He said that he first went to see Tails who was mopping about for some reason. Sonic told you that when he tried to talk to Tails, he wouldn't answer him. You felt bad at first, but remembering what Tails is gonna do to you later, you just shrugged it off. You told Sonic that Tails was just being drama queen and that he was trying to guilt trip you. Sonic once again asked what happened between you two.

You decided to fill him in on the whole story this time instead of skipping over the parts Tails wanted you to. You tell him about the whole ice cream incident and how Tails ate you that day. Sonic was not pleased to hear this news. You then told him about last night and how after he went to sleep, Tails ate you again. You conclude your story by telling him about the bet you lost and how you’re doomed to becoming a specially prepared meal for the gluttonous fox boy. You skip out on telling Sonic the other condition as it was too embarrassing to talk about. Sonic kept quiet for a moment as he thought about what you said. You thought he must have be shocked by the news of his best friend being power hungry. Sonic paused for a moment and then told you that he thought Tails dropped that habit. You were surprised to hear that Sonic already knew about Tails strange eating problem. Sonic chuckled and said that he was Tails first live meal a long while ago. He said that he angered Tails over some fight that he couldn't remember, and that he was gobbled up afterwards. It seemed Sonic and Tails were hiding some stories from you as well as this never came up in the discussion last night. Sonic laughed and said you he knew all about the bet and that you tried to conceal the second part of the bet. You were surprised Sonic knew so much. Sonic points out that he fell for Tails bet just like you did and that just like you, it was made after he got eaten a second time. You were relieved to know that you weren't the only one Tails fooled. After you both laughed off the experience, the food had arrived at the table. You thanked Sonic for making the meal free. He nodded and then you both indulged into your respective dish.

After a good brunch, the two of you take a short walk. Sonic tells you that you really should go back to see Tails. Sonic said Tails was the nicest guy you could meet. You scoffed at the idea as he could be pretty annoying. Sonic told you that he only acts kind of jerkish because it was a predator thing that you wouldn't understand. He also says Tails isn't the best at making friends and that even though he may have treated you a little badly, he actually really likes you. Sonic quickly retorted that he means as a friend and not just a meal. You think about for a moment and say that you’ll agree to go back only if Sonic will accompany you. Sonic agrees as he grabs your hand and runs at super speed. Your eyes water as you’re not used to moving this fast.

You arrive at Tails house in record time. Being dragged by your right arm at that speed strained it a bit. The two of you walked into the workshop at the side of the house only to find it empty. The two of you were puzzled as Tails said that he would be fixing up one of the tornado planes. You both walked into the house to see if he’s still around. After a minute of searching you both walk up to Tails room. Sonic tries to open the door, but it was locked. You put your ear on the door. You heard what seemed to be sniffling. You figured Tails must have been crying. Now you really felt bad. Sonic asks you what you heard. You tell him that you believe Tails is crying. Sonic frowned as he never liked to see people unhappy, especially his close friends. Sonic knocked on the door and asked Tails if he was okay. Tails said he was fine. You could tell by the way he answered Sonic that he was lying. You tell Tails that you can tell he’s lying. You then ask him to come out of his room. Tails didn’t answer you. You told Tails that you just needed some space and that you’re still his friend. Tails voice perks up a bit as he said “really” in an uncertain voice. You tell him you meant that. Tails then opens the door and gives you a big hug. You couldn't believe that a little 8 year old could give you this hard a squeeze. You gasp for air and signal Tails to let you go. Tails drops you, blushes, and then apologizes. You told Tails that you were okay. Sonic just stood there and watched you two make up. You asked if this meant you’re off the hook for the bet. Tails wiped his face and giggled. You knew that meant you were still dinner. You sighed and accepted your unavoidable fate. You jokingly ask if Sonic can take your place. Sonic in response gives you a smack to the back of your head for that remark and Tails laughs as how silly you were. You rub your head and laugh a little to. You didn’t know why, but seeing Tails smile made you really happy.

The sun was setting outside. You knew this meant it was dinner time. You waved to Sonic who was sitting on the couch as you walked into the kitchen. Once inside you saw a table covered with a large bun that was big enough to fit you in it, chili being cooked on a stove, and lots and lots of grated cheese. All this stuff resembled the chili dogs Sonic ate for brunch. You saw Tails stare at his massive oven as he prepared it for you. You tap Tails on the shoulder to alert him to your presence. Tails jumps in the air startled. You laugh a bit and say that you kept your word. Tails thanks you and says it’s great to meet someone who keeps his promises. Tails told you to strip down and lay in the bun. You removed everything except the clothing that was important to you and then you laid down on your back. Laying in a bun felt really weird to you. Tails walked up to you and poured mildly warm chili on top of you. You were glad it wasn't too hot. Next you saw him dump assorted cheese on top of you. He then picked you up and placed you into the oven. You started to panic as you feared you would be severely burned. Tails told you to calm down and that he didn’t set the temperature too high. Tails turned out to be right. While it was really hot, it wasn't hot enough to physically burn you. You felt the cheese melt on top of you and the chili heat up a bit. You were sweating, but you didn’t think it was that bad. Tails eventually pulled you out of the oven and placed you on the kitchen table.

You could see how eager Tails was to eat you. You saw him stare at you hungrily with those blue eyes. His drool poured onto your face as he stared at his tasty looking meal. You then saw him lick his lips as he picked up the back end of the bun. You told him to enjoy his meal. He nodded and then stuck the bottom end of the chili “you” into his mouth. He seemed to be going feet first with you this time. He nibbled on the bun and filling around your feet which tickled you a little bit. Once that was gone, he really started tickling your feet with his tongue. You laughed loudly as he tickled and sucked on your feet. Tails moaned in response to your flavour. Tails was in heaven right now. He really wanted this moment to last. He licked your feet clean before gulping them down. You could see the bulge your feet made in Tails throat. You found it pretty interesting that you could now see how Tails eats you. You suddenly realized that you really did enjoy Tails eating you. Tails continued to feast upon you as he nibbled on the bun and filling surrounding your legs. You thanked him for being gentle with you as Tails really tried his best not to harm you. Tails muffled a response. You were pretty sure he said “Your Welcome.” Tails then licked and slurped down your legs. Next Tails made it to the midpoint of the chili “you” which contained your stomach. You could see Tails take his time savouring every part of you. What really made you smile was the fact that all that chili was falling all over Tails. He looked like a mess. You snapped back to reality as Tails tickled your stomach with his tongue. You once again flailed around frantically. Once the flavour was gone, Tails swallowed down your stomach and moved up to your chest area. You could feel your feet were free from the tight throat as they started to enter Tails belly. You swung your feet around a little as Tails licked your chest. While he was tasting you, you decided to do Tails a nice favour. You then scratched his stomach walls with your feet. You heard him purr happily as you did so. This whole experience felt like the world’s slowest water slide. Your body slowly started to curl up inside as more and more of your body filled up Tails stomach. Tails finally made it to your head as he started chewing the remaining filling surrounding you. You could see his maw up close as he slowly chewed up the bun and chili. You pulled out your hand from his mouth and then rubbed Tails nose. You didn’t know why you were being so nice, but you just wanted to make Tails happy. Tails smiled and with one finger, he pushes your head into his mouth. You saw the roof of his maw as he licked your neck. Next Tails used his tongue to flip you over so he could taste your face. This was probably the only part you truly despised. Getting slobber all over your face wasn't enjoyable and you didn’t want him licking your lips. You looked up to see the light from the outside slowly fade away as Tails closed his jaws around you. With one last powerful gulp, you felt yourself slide completely into Tails stomach. You once again heard the familiar gurgle echo around you. You also heard Tails stomach make a sloshing sound as the chili inside swished up and down. You were occasionally splashed in the face. You then heard Tails make the loudest and deepest burp you ever heard. It was so loud and long that you had to cover your ears. You laughed and told Tails how loud he was. You could hear his echoing chuckle and feel his belly bounce up and down. Tails moaning turned into purrs as he blissfully rubbed his belly. He told you that you were now officially the best thing he ever ate.

Sonic walked into the kitchen and saw Tails massive bulging belly. Sonic asked Tails how he was. Tails licked his lips and responded saying you were the tastiest meal ever. Sonic laughed as he helped Tails get up. Sonic saw that Tails stomach nearly touched the ground. He was pretty amazed at how gluttonous Tails could be. You could suddenly feel Tails belly shake as you could feel Tails movement. As Tails was walking, his stomach bobbed and bounced you up and down. It was like a bounce house. Sonic laid Tails onto his bed which could barely support Tails new found weight. Sonic lightly placed Tails head onto his pillow. Before Sonic could back away, Tails burped into his face. Tails said he was sorry. You laughed as you heard Sonic complain. Sonic turned off the lights and closed Tails door. You could hear Tails heart beat slow down as he yawned. Tails asked you if you knew any bedtime stories. Before you could speak, Tails politely asked if you could rub the inside of his tummy for him. You sigh and do so. The moaning and purring from outside grew louder as you massaged his insides. Tails stomach also made a weird gurgling sound. It was as if Tails stomach was thanking you. You then told Tails a short story as you were pretty tired too. As you were about to ask Tails about letting you out, he fell asleep. You heard his snoring which made you smile. You curled up in Tails belly and slowly drifted off to sleep as well. You weren't sure if he would digest you or not, but you knew you wouldn't be awake to know the difference anyways.
