So, this one was kinda neato. Chevise is a "Scapewalker" who wanders in digital systems, usually in places he's not meant to go, but very few ever manage to bar his path, wherever it is he's going. I kinda thought the idea was kinda neat, as He's kinda of a hacker, but also a wandering sage. He's got this inate understanding of that world, and I have this weird feeling that if a virtual existence were to come along, we'd have people like him wandering its illusory lands.

It's interesting you made a tag-note of the seedy underbelly of digital space, 'cause prior to his personal quest for transcendence, his "job" in the neuro-social systems was to police/moderate/suppress the demented SecondLife ugliness you speak of (which would manifest literally in there).
