With a quick lunge, the dracoraptor's head was fully taken into the dragon's maw. With a satisfied slurping sound, the dragon carefully began to pull the strange hybrid down his throat. Although the raptor had initially been shocked, he began to weakly struggle once his eyes had entered the soft, fleshy throat - his panic over being confined in a tight space overruled his previous stupefied reaction.
It was no use, however - with several large, wet gulps, the much larger dragon was able to quickly send the smaller dragon down his gullet. He lifted a clawed paw to the impressive bulge in his throat, helping the wiggling dracoraptor on his downwards journey. His tongue out in pleasure, he made one last satisfied smacking sound, savoring the remnants of the raptor's taste around his jaws and maw.
His victory - and a victory nap in the sun - were short-lived. Almost the exact second that the raptor had fully entered his stomach (and began a more vigorous, renewed effort to escape), a warm blast of air hit the back of his neck. Turning, the dragon found himself in the exact same situation his own prey had just been in. Too weighed down to run, the dragon could only stare in horror at the huge dinosaur behind him, eyeing his body, and sizing him up as a potential meal.
A short comic for akaikosh, who has been a very good friend to me on my time on here so far. He did toss me several character refs to use in a picture with Epoch (who was given to me by Rae), since I felt he needed to be used more... and so I hope this comic will be a good surprise for him. c:
I regret that this will probably will be among the last few uses of my trusty pencils, which just haven't been performing as well as they used to. I'll miss them, but at least one of their final uses was for several projects!
No death or digestion. Not my thing.
Note: The dinosaur was given a definitive specie for this, since Rae wasn't too sure on what it was. I've made it a Giganotosaurus because it's larger than the T. rex!
