Lumimyrsky meeting up with a few of her friends while drinking some hot chocolate to keep herself nice and warm. I haven't got names for her friends, but there's a Glaceon and a Froslass there enjoying her company. This is actually the middle of the day in Frystökebyen; it is far enough north that the sun doesn't rise for four months, and then in the summer it does not set for four months.

I don't know why but I really dig how the Glaceon turned out. Somehow it looks different from how you usually draw snouts/faces .. and I really like it, at first I was going to ask if this was a collaboration with another artist.
I also like the atmosphere and how the chosen colors compliment it (I'm a huge fan of snowy nights, which is kinda strange considering I put my character into a environment where you rarely see snow.).
So overall : Great work! This is one of my favorites of your lower scale pictures :D

Thanks! I've got plans for another picture involving Niamh, Lumi and some snowboards! I'll see if I can get around to drawing it. Heh it's interesting that it looks like a different artist, I've been practicing muzzles and expressions a tiny bit in between pictures, so maybe it's that? It's a snowy "Day" here but I know what you mean! It's the first time I've ever tried snow in the dark - most of my characters wouldn't know what snow is either.
