A little something that I just threw together to help me later on in the comic.
The "Golden Phoenix" is the earlier model of the Naronian Empire's Army uniform. It was created roughly around fifty years from the date of the beginning of the comic. The entire empire was in a desperate shortage of iron, when the greatest supply of the ore came from the northern mines of Skramma. The contract of traderights was broken when the empire decided to invade the most southern of the northern lands, namely Vanerheim. The campain of vanerheim were to be known as "The Beheading of the Dragon" and were stretched over 18 years. When the capital of Vanerheim finaly fell, under the lead of the young imperial General Kahán, the roads to Sharam were open for the empire. Under the short time of two years, General Kahán managed to conquer both Rakram, Fahrim and Hishri. That left the greatest mines in the world - the mines of Orrok - under imperial control. From the fat veins of Orroks vast mountains they got a plenty of Iron, copper and the precious golden metal Krothan, which is sacred for the Naronians. From first year after the Beheading of the Dragon the entire Naronian army got a superior upgrade in both arms and armor.
The Golden Phoenis is a light combination of bronze plates, leather and padded linnen. Everything with the typical dark and golden colours that are typical for the Empire of Naron. They wore the same black tunics and double dragon emblem, but many thought it was horribly garrish and unpractical when it provided a poor defens in the back.
