Fun fact, I actually don’t like Lion king much at all :I. For whatever reason though I had the urge to draw some fanart awhile back, so I figured I’d post it since I’ve been inactive lately.
So have some Nuka because frankly he’s the only character in the franchise that I’m even remotely interested it.
I used it as an excuse to mess around and experiment a little, learned a good deal from this little project.
Been doing lots of writing for a project V.V Lots of respect for the writers out there!
Never been particularly good at writing.

I experimented with my "underpainting" a little. I tend to use softer colors in fear of it being too obtrusive, this time I decided it needed at least some contrast and went with a darker color and it worked just fine (next time I'll keep marking colors in mind though ^^'). So I definitely be trying to use more color in furture pieces, be less afraid of darker ones.
