So, there is this amazing artist that goes by the name of Devil Kitten. Her work has such life and softness to it. She has such clean linework too. But she works in pencils and digital, but doesn't ink her works. So, I was given the opportunity (okay, so I more or less begged) to ink one of her pieces. This is one of her recent favorites.

To ink this, I took the original file into Photoshop CS2 and (using channels method to fill the black with color) I converted it to only Cyan, and then made it 3% opacity. I printed it out on 80# cardstock and inked it using mostly a Micron 05 pen (though there is some 03 and 08 too). I took it back into Photoshop, scanned it (at 600dpi) and cleaned it up.
