Great work! I always prefered Shōnen Mowgli over the Disney-version, too. And Bagheera was by far my favorite character! I liked his deep love that he would have sacrificed his life for Mowgli without hesitation, even though he often pretended to not really care about anything. The characters in Shōnen Mowgli were "deeper" than the ones from Disney and closer to the ones in the original book.

Disney portrays him somehow too grim in the tale and in the later film as well.
But in this series he got a lot back from his original personality (not completely, of course, several times in the series he shows his love for Maugli and other inhabitants of the forest, Kipling shows the side of the defender more).
