I've taken a special liking to gorillas lately, ever since I went to the zoo and actually saw them up close. They're amazing animals. I was immediately fascinated by the thoughtful, intelligent look they had when their eyes met mine. So now, after a lot of educational sketching, teaching myself how to draw gorillas properly, I think I have finally captured that sense of thought and awareness that I saw in their faces in real life.
