That's what my dad said when he saw "Dressed for Success" for the first time a couple of years ago (yes, he's a casual brony, but it's because he's also grew up with some of the same weird stuff we did as kids from Looney Tunes to Disney shorts, so we all know our Cartoon Physics theory and other TV Tropes :greetings:). The reason I was able to finish this NOW after sketching it way back then was because of eye service, since Mom has been hanging out at my place to work on her book on bullies, so I had to be constructive most of the time she was there. As for why this was put off for so long... maybe I got too frustrated with the technique method I was doing, or just looking at those dresses were a major turn-off for creativity.

Indeed, they were all gaudy-looking dresses, and we STILL don't know which of the staff animators thought up of these, but we commemorate them for this ingenious catastrophic designs. And I personally liked this episode on account that, from what I've heard about my sister's olden days of web design, most of the time, clients know diddly-squat about aesthetics. And since the original Gala dresses were ESSENTIALLY gifts, this is a good lesson on art trading and commission ethics for the art community, I think.

And the dress Rarity wore for the flight competition (when she had those gossamer wings that goes "FROOSH!" in the sunlight) was absolutely horrible, I had to draw that as well LOL
