I can't think of the correct name for that bag on a stick he's carrying, but I also agree that it's a nifty design aspect. It's nice seeng some characters based on unconventional things (the only similar character I can think of would be Planetman from the Megaman series), and I'd like to see you flesh this guy out. His eyes and mouth look like they need some lava in them, the rest of him being a craggy wasteland. It looks like that was your exact intention, actually. x] The clouds make an interesting suit of sorts.
