This is a shot I took outside of the office complex I work in.
Having just bought a point-and-shoot class digital photo camera, Canon PowerShot SD870, I wanted to see the color reproduction and image quality it had.
Turned out that on the "vivid" color setting the colors end up looking even more live then in real life - and definitely better then I originally expected from an unprofessional camera like that.
Expensive at it might have been, I consider the purchase worth it. Now I have an annoying toy to point in people's faces, which, given an appropriate lighting - or rather the lack of thereof - can even flash a light at them. And I can get to see their annoyed faces later in high resolution, isn't it great?
[edit] Though I have to say I already hate the tri-naming scheme Canon chose to give to their line of cameras. Powershot in US, Digital IXUS in the Eurpe, and some other name in Japan - all of which have differing indexes.

PowerShot SD870 and
Digital IXUS 860

One thing I've noticed on the Canon cameras, is that it often helps to set your color to Vivid, and your exposure compensation to +2/3. It seems like the exposure compensation is almost always a little bit off. But other than that, they take great photos. I love my little Powershot A550.
