[New Original Music!]
The sun peeking over the hills,
a newborn's first breath.
A timeless moment will
stay in our heart till death.
The first kiss of true love,
Placed so tender and sweetly,
A childs laughter as she runs
through the garden with glee.
If you could pause time,
where would that be?
The birth of your loved one,
or a kiss beneath the oak tree?
This composition was based and inspired from a couple of things in life, also watching a scene from Star Trek: Insurrection (Had an awesome soundtrack). I wanted to try and convey a scene where everything around a couple freezes in time, focusing entirely on the couple and what they do, before that "moment" gradually starts to revert back to normal time.

O_o Wow...this truly is beautiful. What magic and wonder that the music leaves, so many possibilities to think of when thinking and looking ahead. I could actually feel my spirit being uplifted, especially at the beginning. This piece really fits the "Timeless Moment" title. You did a marvelous job on this one, Fox. *faves the submission*
hmm... you know what i picture with this?
a couple, lying in bed in the middle of the night, holding each other close... one is asleep, the other just lays there, watching him breathe and dream, drinking in the sound of his breath and the feel of him in his arms... his gaze shifts over to the nightstand, where moonlight spills across a small collection of photographs of the two of them, and he thinks to himself "so many memories... so many precious moments, more valuable than any gem..." then looks back to his lover, asleep in his arms, smiles and hugs him close, and adds one more moment to the list of his treasures...
heh, couldn't help myself, that was a really vivid image! ^^ kudos, it seems your music so far is the only one to do this to me!

I know the exact scene you're talking about from Insurrection--Picard just staring in wonder as this woman essentially stops time for the both of them.
Fox, your grasp of the full orchestral nuances to generate such subtle, beautiful music continues to fully impress me. I gotta listen to that again...
Voices, flutes, low & high strings, piano, soft high-end xylophone. Very nicely combined to create a mood of serenity, peace, wonder, and almost tearful joy. Beautiful.

This sounds like it could be the opening of the score to a motion picture (incidentally, my favorite genre). I LOVE the 4-3 suspension (I think) on the dominant chord around 1:39! What program did you use to generate the instruments? Or did you use live instruments...I can't tell, it sounds so good. Thanks for sharing this with us. Incidentally, if you ever wanted live French Horn samples, I could record them for you

i Don't know if ypull read this but when i listed to this song this lil bit of stuff came to me and tought id share it with you
