So, my mum called me up yesterday when I was half asleep saying a very sweet young cat was wandering around out on the street and probably came from this hoarder cat lady's house. He wasn't being fed, was matted and needed a home.
So this happened.
o^o Things happened so fast.
I'm not sure what to think yet, other than he is SO sweet and quite a fashionable gentleman. He's only five months but already the size of some full grown cats, and he's FLUFFY. this pic was after the vet groomer shaved out the mats.
Stella isn't happy but she's pouty rather than freaking out and hissing. Hoping this is a good sign. If she gets uber stressed she can flare up a UTI... but she might like having someone to play with.
Might need to raise a bit of money for his vet bills though. He's been dewormed and defleaed and tested for feline leukemia, but he needs his balls snipped. Might need to do an auction for a good cause.
Right now we're calling him Dapper Dan and Danny boy. XD Better than what my mum was calling him, which was Stinky.

My cat Ollie looks exactly like him. He was that big when we got him, and he was 6 months old then. He's 5 now, and he gets a little bit bigger. His paws are huge and fluffy, but keeping the hair from getting matted up takes a bit of work too. Can be a very warm cat when it's cold out and he's sitting still to actually snuggle with. But your cat, being 5 months old, I expect to grow a bit more. The bigger and fluffier, the better in my opinion.

if you need any help introducing them i can give you some advice :3
also do you know if hes part main coon? if hes fluffy, sweet and bigger then normal cats then he fits the breed bio (though he might just be a cute, puffy kitty )

i ask coz he looked so much like one (didnt know if the lady used to be a breeder or something and it just got out of hand?)
wow his 'brother' must look gorgeous! my sister has a habit of finding amazing looking cats (she found a box of abandoned rag-dolls and a snow lynx whos not a pure bread but still looks awesome!, from a hoarder)

Ooo. pretty cat. I hope you can keep him. And i'd suggest you to get either catnip, or that cat feromone socket plugger thingies so the introducing could go better for those two. ^^
Remember to give attention equally for both, and maybe keep them separated and then change their rooms like.. old cat in the new cats room, and the new cat in to old ones. they can get to know their scent, and then you could start showing them to each other trough the trasferring cages.

Lots of areas have programs to help with low cost spay and neuter. I don't know where you are located, but a google search might help you find a local program to get this taken care of for 30-50 dollars. Many animal shelters will also have a program to help offset costs if you live in their cities limits. It can be a huge help...especially if you are like me and adopt everything. Thankfully only 1 more we need to get fixed and she is already partly paid for by her adoption fees from the shelter.
