This guy here I took a picture of is a Tawny Frogmouth at the Kansas City Zoo. As you can tell this guy has a big mouth. This big mouth it has allows it to eat bugs while in the air. The Coloration of the feathers gives them great camouflage which makes it hard to spot when in the Aviary. This bird is in a group of birds called Nightjars or Nighthawks, some of the birds in that family are the Common Nighthawk, Western Whip-Poor-Will and Chuck Will's Widow. This guy is located in the Australia Aviary at the Kansas City Zoo as far as I know this is the only Frogmouth that the zoo has. Other zoos has them like the St. Louis Zoo has a few of them.
