I know how embarrassing that is though it was worse. my dad KNOWS what my backpack has in it and why i take it everywhere and one time he asked in the middle of a store with people around me (loud enough to be heard) why do you carry your diaper bag everywhere. I was so embarrassed i could have died. i didn't talk to him for a week after that.
well due to some unknown reason I am diapered 24/7 because of incontinence. (the cause of it is what's unknown) which is why i carry my bag everywhere. but JEEZE some parent's right. there is a time and place for comments on stuff like this and loud enough for passerbyes to hear in the middle of a store is NOT it. *hides face in hands totally embarrassed and ready to cry*
Yea I also am incontinent (urge incontinece) and carry a regular backpack inside I keep changing supplies an diapers. One time we were out in a public place just outside my house, I was runing low on "supplies" and I told him I need supplies, all of a sudden he says in a high voice "what oh you need pampers?" To which I corrected him and told him it's protective underware then I look around me and saw people staring at us, god that was the most embarrassing situation of my life
yeah it sucks HAVING to wear but at least we can CHOOSE what kinds we wear and enjoy them a little. i guess parents have to get back at us for all the things we do that embarrass them in public like *giggles* one time when i was a toddler I hid in the clothing section in one of those round racks and i stripped down to my nappy then when mom came to find me i ran out yelling "fweedom."
