DeNola answers: "Well it depends really, but normally we serve in the civil service whenever we're not training, busy with our studies, practicing our chosen trades, or guarding the Caliph or one of his Viziers. I mainly assist the local constables and fire-fighters.
It's really fun sometimes though, and you really meet the most interesting people!"
